Project Description
Cedar Village is the first major mixed-use project planned for North Berkeley. The project is located near the corner of San Pablo Avenue and Cedar Street, a burgeoning shopping district featuring a number of upscale shops including Kermit Lynch Wine Merchant, Acme Breads, Berkeley Lighting and Earthly Basics.
Cedar Village will feature 160+ apartments constructed over +/- 18,000 square feet of neighborhood serving commercial spaces. These apartments include three generous courtyards and a number of amenities including a view deck and barbecue area, a community room and an exercise facility.
Cedar Village is strategically located near major job centers, freeways and public transit. The 4th Street shopping district is within 1/2 mile and North Berkeley Bart is within 3/4 mile.
The project was sold in 2014 to a real estate development group that intends to start construction by 2018.
